13 Months

Jimmy is 13 months now...or 1 year 1 month and 2 days.

He was burned on his poor little face recently with some hot soup.  I think it probably looked worse than it actually was since it didn't seem to bother him...or maybe he's just a tough little boy...either way it's healing up nicely and you can barely see it.
 

I love this phase we're in right now, it's probably one of my favorites. He's so smart and doing new things constantly and he's so sweet! I find myself wanting to hang onto him like this forever and I snuggle and cuddle and kiss him as much as I can.

 

- He's discovered drawers...all of them!

- He points at what he wants.  An under-handed point.  So cute!

- He's taking at least one "bottle" a day out of a sippy cup.

- He likes to dance and he turns in slow circles with a big grin on his face.

- He is fascinated with the contents of the refrigerator.

- He waits at the garage door for Daddy.

- He knows what "Pow Pow" means and can say a version of it.

- He runs and greets us with a big hug when we pick him up. 

- He loves empty bottles.  Shampoo bottles, coke bottles, water bottles...any kind of bottle.

He still doesn't have a ton of hair but what he does have is getting long and as much as it pains me to think about I think we need to probably trim it. Maybe I'll wait a little bit longer...
