Hallelujah!!

Jimmy's tempanic membranes look awesome!

I'm so sick of hearing about tempanic membranes this and bulging tempranic membranes that.  I didn't even know what the heck a tempranic membrane was before this whole ear infection thing got started but after being shown the ear anatomy chart repeatedly I now know and shall never forget what the tempranic membrane is...the ear drum. Seriously?  Yep, the ear drum.

1st St. Patrick's Day

My baby boy has such beautiful skin. So fair and flawless. To keep it fair and flawless and to help him avoid a painful and traumatizing introduction to St. Patty's day I dressed him in a lot of green.  JD bought him the cutest John Deere outfit and it worked perfectly for the occasion.

It was early and the lighting was bad so excuse the quality....and the quantity.  I don't think the hour or the lighting have anything to do with the quantity...you can just chalk that up to a proud mamma.

Fanciful Friday

Fabulous Friday.  Fearless Friday.  Frazzled Friday.

Well, I ran out of "F" words to describe Friday (today) and none of those really describes the day anyway.  It's been a Full week for sure.  Jimbo has ear infections again and Mamma and Daddy are suffering with allergies too.

Stats

Well, we did it...we finally went to the Dr and weighed in!  Here are the stats:
15 lbs and 15 oz
25.5 in
We were guessing he weighed a lot more than that but I guess our arms are just tired.  The car seat also adds 50 lbs I think.

Six Month Bust and Brag

I’m so disappointed to have to tell you that I have no stats or a Six Month picture to post. The day yesterday did not go according to plan in the slightest. I left work early to go pick up the little guy and the plan was to run really quick to apply for his passport and then go to his Dr appointment and find out how much he’s grown in the past two months.

I prepared all the paperwork for the passport application ahead of time and even had his pictures done at Walgreens so we could walk in and walk out. The passport office told me it would be a max of 40 minutes to finish. FOUR hours later I leave the passport office for the last time having finally finished all the running around they had me doing. I ended up having to get Jimmy’s picture taken THREE more times just to get one that wouldn’t be rejected.

Six months!

February...I realize this is confusing...was the 6th month although he is just now 6 months today. Okay so maybe not too terribly confusing but if its still early for you and you haven't had your coffee or Dr. Pepper, whatever the case may be, it might give you a little trouble.

I think each month that passes is the best month and then the next one comes along and tops it. This last month was the best yet.  He is so cute and loves to laugh and will crack up at the most random things.  He talks a lot and blows bubbles with a passion. He gets lost in his own world while he's talking to himself or his toy. He's sitting up better, enjoying tummy time more and he's discovering he owns a pair of feet.  He also has a little temper that shows itself if you don't feed him fast enough and he fights sleep like a champion.

Countdown to Six Months: Month 5

**And this one was supposed to be posted on Tuesday!!  Yikes I'm behind!

Month 5, January was another fun month.  We started giving him tastes of foods towards the end of this month and his first food was avocado! He also started rolling more and was able to support himself sitting up for a little bit at a time.  Besides a little hiccup from a painful ear infection it was an awesome month.

Countdown to Six Months: Month 4

***Ooops! This was supposed to be posted on Monday...

December! This was a fun month.  Jimmy started laughing, talking more and lighting up when he saw us.  He also "discovered" the TV and could stare at it forever...even the most boring and inane things.  This was also the first month he could actually sit in the Bumbo.
