Junk Drawer

I didn’t intend to do a “Junk Drawer” post every week but it just so happens that I’ve tended to be kind of wordy every Tuesday. I have several random tidbits to share so instead of making a post for each of them I thought I would jumble them altogether in the Junk Drawer.

My Poll
I screwed it up. This is the first poll I’ve ever created and I was feeling pretty sophisticated until…I screwed it up. Who knew that changing the wording one tiny little bit would erase all the results up until that point??? I certainly didn’t! So instead of showing results from all 23 votes it’s only showing results from the 9 that have voted since I made that change. Happily the voting doesn’t actually determine the gender of my cute Little Pepper….

You can still see all of the states that voted in the results page…although it doesn’t show Canada and I know I’ve had at least one vote from there.

More Pregnancy Snacks/Cravings
Another example of my weird tastes this pregnancy. I like all of these things pre-pregnancy but would have never eaten them all at the same time.

Sunday’s snack: 5 slices Pepperjack Cheese, approx 10 cubes of Cheddar Cheese, 2 Kosher Dill Pickles, 1 Banana, 1 Dr Pepper.

Movement
I’ve been feeling Little Pepper move without mistaking the kicks for gas bubbles since slightly before 15 weeks. We even felt him/her on the outside a few days ago…though it hasn’t happened since. S/he doesn’t move much though…and sometimes I think that’s a reflection of his/her personality and sometimes I worry. Another reason I can’t wait to see the booger in black & white.

Cake & Punch
We’re having cake and punch today at work. The cake is already in the refrigerator and there is ice cream and sherbet in the freezer ready to be mixed into the punch. 32 more minutes!!! I’m looking forward to the punch more than the cake!!!

That is all.

  1. Just for the record I had 2 punch sized cups of punch and then a regular sized glass to bring back to my desk! It was delicious and had pineapple sherbet in it.
